With all the doom and gloom about the credit crunch and the threat of recession, it occurred to me that what our sport needs is another Scurlogue Champ - and as we have seen with what Spurs did at Arsenal the other night, coming from 4-2 down with just a couple of minutes to go to get a draw, the public like a fairy story.
