JASON Plato secured himself pole position for today's penultimate round of the British Touring Car Championship at Brands Hatch.
Reigning champion Plato, who is in third spot in the overall standings 24 points behind leading duo Matt Neal and Gordon Shedden, earned his fourth pole in the last five qualifying sessions after recording a time of one minute 31.874 seconds in his Chevrolet Cruze.
