From JOHN WILKINSON at Butts Park Arena COVENTRY squandered another winning position in the final minutes as they slipped to a fourth successive National League One defeat. Trailing 14-0 midway through the first quarter, Cov came storming back after the break to go in front for the first time at 19-17 before extending their lead to 24-17 with 15 minutes left on the clock.

But with Park on the rack, Cov took their foot off the pedal and were hit by a 17-point burst in the space of nine minutes which gave the visitors a win masterminded by the cool head and accurate boot of fly-half Ross Laidlaw.
