JAMES Anderson last night insisted he would remain patient and wait for his chance to reclaim his England Test place having given a glimpse of a possible return to form in a rare outing for the tourists. The Lancashire seamer, left, has had a dramatic fall from grace since making an astonishing impact on the World Cup in South Africa last winter and his equally impressive start to Test cricket against Zimbabwe and South Africa last summer.

But in the Caribbean Anderson has featured only in the opening warm-up match against Jamaica a month ago until returning with a new desire and enthusiasm on Friday to take two for 30 as the Carib Beer XI, made up of West Indies' best emerging cricketers, were dismissed for 129 in only 48.2 overs.
