YORKSHIRE were made to work hard by Somerset centurion John Francis before they completed an innings-and-44-run Frizzell County Championship Division Two victory at Headingley.

Opener Francis carried his bat for a faultless 125 off 286 balls, with 15 boundaries - becoming the first Somerset batsman to occupy the crease for the whole innings since Peter Roebuck against Middlesex at Taunton in 1991.
