IT'S the latest way to beat the budget - customising secondhand clothes!
Vintage clothes are becoming so popular, the British Red Cross has brought the world's first mobile charity shop to Brindleyplace, Birmingham. The charity is also introducing haberdashery departments at many of its high street outlets. We found bargains like Next shirts for just pounds 2, silk saris for pounds 30 and vintage dresses for pounds 3. Students from Birmingham City University customised the outfits with scarfs and belts from as little as pounds 1 - then we got the students, Red Cross volunteers and even shoppers to model us!See the full content of this document
