WITH one of my friends off backpacking round Europe, I thought it would be a great idea to have one last weekend away before she leaves the girlie group for a year.

So we headed off to a little village called Fishlake, in Doncaster, to stay in a converted 18th Century windmill along a quaint country road just outside the village.

As we drove through the electric gates we were surrounded by a flock of birds - peacocks, geese and cockerels, roaming around the gardens.

The mill also comes with its own paddocks and stables that can be used by guests, as well as its own goat...
