VALE boss Martin Foyle was left to rue missing out on City midfielder Scott Brown, who starred in a comfortable win. Brown, a trialist at Vale Park last year, picked up the man of the match award and Foyle admitted it was fully deserved. "Sadly, we couldn't afford to sign Scott, but I knew he was a good player and he did very well today," said Foyle.
"I was disappointed with my team. We didn't look up for it and never gave City much of a game."See the full content of this document
