SNIFFER dogs have been called into the battle to keep avian influenza out of Britain.
The dogs - three at Heathrow, three at Gatwick and two at Manchester - are on the lookout for eggs, poultry or feathers being brought in from Romania or Turkey where the virus has been identified.
