THE sun shone brightly for the Sunday Mercury's Wonderkids as they were honoured for their courage and compassion yesterday.

All 10 youngsters, who were nominated to win the coveted title, as well as two Wondergroups, enjoyed a magnificent day out at Drayton Manor Theme Park, in Tamworth, Staffordshire, with their families.
