1I KNOW I said Jonathan Holloway took the easy way out in adapting Wuthering Heights. But since there's money in such business, maybe I should do likewise. Here's an idea. I'll write a radio play about Winnie-the-Pooh, and have Christopher Robin's pal diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, brought on by being a very overweight bear. Or maybe I'll do a version of Gulliver's Travels, where the Lilliputians reject Gulliver's help because he's a Western Imperialist. And it isn't humanitarian intervention, it's all about the oil.
2I'M one of the most talented, witty and attractive geezers on the planet - but there's one thing I can't do. Drive. My five-year- old son, Ben, has cottoned on to the fact, although I think he believes I don't own a car out of spite. Nothing to do with never passing a driving test.
