FADING sprinter Mark Lewis-Francis has appealed to the Great Britain selectors not to waste his relay experience.

The 27-year-old has lost his place at the top table of 100 metre runners and has only an outside chance of making the team for the European Championships later this month. Charles van Commenee names that squad on Tuesday and even though the Darlaston Dart is one of just two men to have run the qualifying time, his fifth place in last weekend's trials has hit his prospects.
