Summary
NEVER LET ME GO (12A) CAST: Carey Mulligan, Andrew Garfield, Keira Knightley (pictured), Charlotte Rampling PLOT: This love story is set in an alternate universe, a world very much like ours but where disease has been all but wiped out, thanks to the creation of clones whose purpose is to donate their organs. They're sent to special boarding schools and sheltered from the world. They're resigned to their fate and the day when they will 'complete' - their word for death, after two or three donations.
Three clones growing up together are involved in a love triangle - Kathy and Tommy, played later in life by Mulligan and Garfield, are clearly meant to be together but jealous Ruth (Knightley) moves in on him. Will true love be allowed a chance before their bodies are cut up? GOOD POINTS: It's beautifully shot and the strong British cast put in great performances, especially Mulligan.
