Summary

HALCYON RIVER DIARIES, BBC1, Sunday, 6.10pm: Philippa Forrester used to be on TV all the time, hosting shows like Tomorrow's World. Then she went behind the camera to become a producer and raise her three young boys with her wildlife cameraman husband Charlie Hamilton James. Now they join forces to present a new four-part series, filmed around their picturesque home on the banks of a West Country river. They've captured the huge variety of wildlife, from kingfishers to otters - and the amusing antics of their boys.

COUNTRYFILE, BBC1, Sunday, 7pm: After becoming a dab hand at lambing, Kate Humble has now turned her attention to raising pigs on her smallholding in Wales. Fortunately her friend, farmer Adam Henson, is on hand to offer advice. Ellie Harrison learns about a novel way of growing mushrooms and John Craven reports on a controversial plan to use the sea to generate power in the Orkneys.
