I WAS given a copy of this wonderful photograph earlier this year - and I believe it is Old Square in Birmingham. But can anyone tell me when it might have been taken? I'm interested because my grandmother worked at one of the shops in the square and I'm trying to build up an idea of what life must have been like.

If anyone can remember the names of the shops in the photo, that would be wonderful.
