THE evil mother who starved seven-year-old Khyra Ishaq to death has launched an appeal against her sentence. Angela Gordon, 35, has instructed her legal team to fight the 15-year jail term she was given earlier this year for the manslaughter of her daughter. The brutal killer and her psychotic boyfriend Junaid Abuhamza had submitted the youngster to months of beatings, starvation and torture at their home in Handsworth, Birmingham.

Last night Khyra's natural father, Ishaq Abuzaire, branded the appeal a disgrace.
