RUGBY fought all the way but could not contain a big, powerful Halifax side who are dominating National League 3 North.

Lions took an early lead with Glenn Bond's penalty but Halifax replied on six minutes with Anzac Luteru's try for 5-3. Rugby errors cost them a second Luteru try after 16 minutes before both sides had a player sin-binned.
