STOURBRIDGE kicked off their league campaign with a hard fought victory over London side Rosslyn Park. They had to withstand a strong Park fightback, though, and in the end were hanging on by their finger nails.

Stourbridge got off to a good start with a Ben Harvey penalty only to concede a try to Mike Count. Stourbridge struck back with two converted tries through new flanker Ben Harvey and speedster James O'Brien.
